Hello everyone!

Alas, we have decided on the venue for our 1st birthday party. It will be at the Idyllwild Nature Center, in the Auditorium room -- Saturday, June 7, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.

We deem Pookie's birthday to be her adoption date (April 26, 2013), and are celebrating it at the same time.

The Nature Center is at 25225 Highway 243, Idyllwild, less than a mile north of downtown Idyllwild on Highway 243. If driving from downtown Idyllwild, watch for the sign on the left side of the highway. Some navigation systems require state highways be formatted as "CA-243". See map below.

We will be serving food, snacks, beverages, and birthday cake for everyone. There is NO charge to attend our birthday party, and you do NOT have to bring anything other than yourself and your appetite! Your friends are also welcome.

For our party guests, there is no entry fee for the Nature Center; just let any Nature Center staff know you are our guest.

For our birthday, we want (1) to see you, and (2) petting. That’s ALL that we want. NO presents are required or requested.

For those of you who are NOT inclined to OBEY, we like donations of any amount (small, medium or large) to Idyllwild Animal Rescue Friends (ARF) so we can rescue more animals on the Hill.

All children and adults both on and off the Hill are welcome to attend our birthday party.

Also, this is a dog-friendly event, so dog owners can bring their friendly dogs. Friendly dogs are welcome!

We love you very much, and we really want to see you at our birthday party. If you plan to attend, please let me know by calling me at 951.659.0283 and leaving me a message, or email me at max@mayormax.com. If you already have or will confirm via Facebook, that is sufficient. This helps me to know how much food and birthday cake to prepare for our party. Thank you.
